Most of the currently available designs of fast filter equipment utilize gravity to discharge impurities. Some liquids contain light impurities that need to be purged, such as fibers, powders etc., or the impurities that will not deposit rapidly, so good performance cannot be achieved.

The floating type filter applies the design of flow along the tangential direction at the entry, which makes the liquid eddy after entering the filter body. Accompanied with the application of eddying baffles, the eddying flow of liquid will be smoother. Through the eddying flowing manner of liquid, light and heavy impurities are gradually separated apart to the top and bottom layers. Light impurities float on the top layer of the unfiltered liquid while heavy impurities deposit to the bottom of the unfiltered liquid. An electronically controlled pneumatic ball valve purging system will automatically perform impurity discharge according to the settings defined in the system.
